Composition

As a composition student, you will have your work performed by fellow Juilliard students on occasions such as annual concerts by the Juilliard Orchestra devoted to student works chosen through a composition competition; an annual Alice Tully Hall concert featuring the winners of the chamber music composition competition; two orchestral readings per semester, which give as many as eight composers the chance to have their orchestral music read and recorded; six chamber music concerts each year presented by the composition department; ChoreoComp, an annual program of new works developed by six student composer-dancer teams; and Théâter Etudes, 为作曲家和所有学科的学生提供的实习课程，将音乐家重新想象为舞台上的表演身体.

Performance Opportunities
